Synopsis
Tallulah is certain she will have a solo in her dance school’s upcoming performance of The Frog Prince. After all, she is now an excellent ballerina. And she’s proud that her little brother, Beckett, has started taking ballet too, even though he spends most of his time goofing off. But then Tallulah gets an unexpected surprise . . . and not the good kind. What’s a ballerina to do when everything does not go as planned? Ballet and sibling rivalry meet head-on in this fabulous follow-up to Tallulah’s Tutu.

Thoughts: Oh my sweet cuteness. Tallulah's little brother Beckett looks up to her and decides to join her ballet class. It's time for the winter recital and Tallulah has her heart set on being the lead soloist in the Frog Prince. She works so hard while her brother goofs off and she is upset when something she really wants is given to someone else. Beckett is a typical little brother full of energy and he is aware of his sister and he really is trying to do well. I think they both are just precious. It's nice to see Tallulah learn to overcome her grudge and be the best big sister ever and sometimes that comes with unexpected rewards. The illustrations are beautifully crafted and the story and characters are well written. Overall, great book about sibling love.
